If you are a new user and would like to enroll, click the link above to register for an online account. To complete this process, you will need your 15-digit account number and the house number (just the number) for the property address.

Pay by Credit Card

Option #1: One-time Credit Card Payments by Phone
You can call (916) 791-0115 to make a payment over the phone with a VISA or MasterCard.

Option #2: One-time Credit Card Payment Online
Enroll in our Online Bill Pay program to initiate a credit card payment with VISA or MasterCard.

Option #3: Recurring Credit Card Payments
Enroll in recurring payments through our Online Bill Pay program to have the amount of your water bill automatically charged to your VISA or MasterCard on the due date of the bill. NOTE: If you are currently signed up for recurring ACH payments through San Juan Water District to have your bill amount deducted from your checking account, please call us at 791-0115 or e-mail customerservice@sjwd.org to let us know you have changed to this online credit card option.

Pay by Check

Option #1: Pay by Check by Phone Call (916) 791-0115 to make a payment over the phone. You will need your bank account number and bank routing number (9-digit number at bottom of your check).

Option #2: One-time Payment Online Enroll in our Online Bill Pay program to make a payment. You will need your bank account number and bank routing number (9-digit number at bottom of your check).

Option #3: Recurring payments from your bank account Enroll in recurring payments through our Online Bill Pay program to have the amount of your water bill automatically deducted from your bank account (ACH) on the due date of the bill. NOTE: If you are already signed up for recurring ACH payments through San Juan Water District, please call us at 791-0115 or e-mail customerservice@sjwd.orgto let us know you have changed to this online ACH option.

Equalized Billing Plan

Monthly water bills can fluctuate from season to season. Take advantage of our equalized payment plan to balance out your metered water bill.

  • You will be billed the same amount on each bi-monthly water bill.
  • Amount is set by calculating an average of your bi-monthly bills based on water consumption for the past 12 months.
  • Equalized payment amounts are reviewed annually in May or June, depending on your billing month, and adjusted for the following year (if necessary). At that time, if you have overpaid or underpaid during the past year, that amount will be due the District or the credit will be applied to your next year's equalized amount.

Complete and return the equalized payment plan form to sign up now. You can also enroll in recurring payments to have your equalized amount automatically charged to a VISA or MasterCard or deducted from your bank account on the due date of the bill.
