San Juan Water District has filed suit under the California Environmental Quality Act, to object to inadequacies in the WaterFix (Delta tunnels project) Environmental Impact Report. SJWD is mainly concerned about potentially reduced storage levels in Folsom Lake during dry years, and the lack of a clear plan of operations of the tunnels that would prevent such impacts. SJWD and its partner agencies in Roseville, Folsom and Sacramento Suburban Water District believe that the EIR fails to adequately analyze and mitigate these potential impacts.
