Elections for the District's five-member Board of Directors are held on even years. A candidate shall be a registered voter residing within the boundaries of the District. Candidates qualify and are elected at large. Information regarding the election process will be updated prior to the filing period of each election year.
Paying for your Candidate Statement of Qualifications
Are you planning to run for a Director position on the San Juan Water District Board of Directors? Since San Juan Water District falls within two counties, you will have to file nomination papers in both counties. The filing period for nomination papers opens July 13, 2020, and closes August 7, 2020, unless an incumbent fails to file, then the deadline is extended to August 12, 2020.
