A tree laden with ripe oranges surrounded by lush green leaves.

San Juan Water District is pleased to invite you to our upcoming Water Efficiency Workshop:

Placer County Master Gardeners, Sandi Kuroda and David Shield, will be joining us to share their expertise on successfully growing citrus in Placer County. If the idea of picking a juicy orange, lemon, or other citrus fruit from your own backyard sounds appealing, this workshop is for you.
During this workshop, participants will learn how to select the right citrus tree for their space, properly plant and establish it, irrigate efficiently, fertilize for healthy growth, and prune to support long-term productivity. Whether you are planting your first tree or caring for an established one, you’ll gain practical, water-wise guidance tailored to Placer County conditions.
