These reports provide valuable information allowing you to make personal health-based decisions regarding your drinking water consumption. The information contained in consumer confidence reports can raise awareness of where your water comes from, help you understand the process by which safe drinking water is delivered to your homes and educate you about the importance of preventative measures such as source water protection.
Our top priority is to provide customers with reliable, clean water at reasonable rates. Your water is tested for 200-plus contaminants on a daily, weekly, monthly and/or annual basis by state-certified water quality staff. You’ll see your water continues to meet all state and federal drinking water standards.
Your water comes from one of the nation’s most pristine watersheds – the American River watershed. The American River begins in the Sierra Nevada with three forks leading to Folsom Lake – the watershed’s largest reservoir.
