Offset Costs for Infrastructure
On August 13, the San Juan Water District Board of Directors approved the start of discussions for a potential pilot program to transfer water – otherwise unavailable to customers – to pay for infrastructure. Funds generated by the transfer would reduce the amount collected from customers to pay for new groundwater wells and pumps. Read on for more information.
