The “plus consumption” charges indicate the cost per unit.
For example, a residential customer using 16 units of water would be charged
$0.37 for each unit, bringing the total consumption cost to $5.92. A residential
customer using 215 units would be charged $0.37 per unit for the first
20 units, $0.62 per unit for the next 180 units, and $0.44 per unit for
the remaining 15 units, resulting in a total consumption cost of $125.60.
